Tottenham Teenager Wins Writing Award

A teenager from Tottenham has recently won a national writing award.

His name is Robert McCue and he has won the Aboriginal Arts and Stories Award at the Governor Genral’s History Awards ceremony in Ottawa that took place last week.

McCue was one of the eight students across the county to receive such an award.

Robert McCue was awarded first place for his short story The Walk about the Idle No More movement.
