The Community Recreation Improvement Community will be supporting the Tottenham Food Bank.
CRIC has presented the Tottenham Food Bank with a donation towards their Christmas food drive.
However, the Tottenham Food Bank is always in need of help.
Everyone who is willing to donate food, especially for kids, can do that in just a few steps.
Now, the Tottenham Food Bank is a registered charity and tax receipts can be provided for cash donations.
The Tottenham Food Bank is inviting residents to show their good spirit and show their support for those in need.
The next, 36th Annual CRIC Car Draw and Dance will take place on Saturday, May 3rd at the Tottenham Community Centre.
Tickets will be available for $60 each and will give guests a chance to win a 2014 Honda Civic and many other prizes.
The Earlybird Draw for $500 will take place on Saturday, April 5th.
Each purchased ticket admits 4 people to the draw and dance with a live band. DJ Rob Boyle will make sure that the music is good.

The private hills of the Heights of Horseshoe are inviting skiers and boarders on Saturday, March 8th to the March Meltdown – the 7th Annual Subaru Ski ‘n’ Board Day.
The event is once again presented by Davenport Subary of Orillia. The March Meltdown is a family-oriented event that will include activities both in the chalet and out on the hills. All proceeds from the event will go to United Way Greater Simcoe County (UWGSC).
This is the seventh year that the event is taking place and it is a great opportunity to enjoy winter with the family and support community events. It is also an exclusive opportunity to ski at a great venue that is normally available only to members of the club.
The event will be running from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 8th and will feature free beginner ski lessons for children aged six and older, races and games, door prizes as well as a silent auction and vendor fair.
Ski and board rentals will be available at the spot. Helmets are optional but recommended and are not available for rent so participants are encouraged to bring their own.
This was quite a good season for winter sports, and winter sport enthusiasts are invited to enjoy the snow once again before spring comes.
Last year, the event managed to raise $12,000. Hopes are that this year there will be a bigger sum of money.
Tickets are available in advance for $25 each (rentals are not included) and are available online at TicketBreak.com or in person at Davenport Subaru of Orillia, UWGSC and at The Heights of Horseshoe in Horseshoe Valley.
Tickets will be also available at the door for $30. Non-skiers and non-boarders are also welcome to drop by at no cost.
